Born in Philadelphia to a musical family, Sahra gravitated toward the magnetic mysticism of reggae. Relocating to Hawaii, where she joined Jahringa Reggae Band, inspired her to sing about life's beauty and enigma. A natural ability to convey the message of universal truth and rights symbolically grants her the title "Jah's Jewel."

Sahra is currently collaborating with veteran reggae guitarist Tuff Lion, whose incomparable influence as both musician and producer nurture the very essence of "Change," her sophomore album and is a continuation of uplifting vibes from debut album "Good's Gonna Happen," this follow-up CD is an earnest appeal to our fundamental righteousness. The keenly conscious vocalist addresses provocative issues with grace and compassion in her campaign for global change.
